NYAN

„NYAN? NYAN? NYAN!“
NYAN is mostly music. Though introducing new instruments to the canon – the now classic Computer-Keyboard (which remains the sole survivor of the instruments from the old days) and the legendary Synth-Trombone (which recently found its replacement in the Virtual Trombone) – NYAN is also noteworthy for its heavy reliance on the Grand Piano, previously unheard within the band’s cosmos.
NYAN is also an homage to the fictional Japanese vocaloid popstar Hatsune Miku (hence the name). In some sense, it can be viewed as a spiritual predecessor to the monumental L., G. & S. + T., which would dominate the band’s output for years to come. In this regard, it marks the premier performance of Pedro’s Domain, first of the classic tunes from the L., G. & S. + T. era.
