Mostly music-driven (in contrast to the antecedent Legende), NYAN stands as intermediary between musical worlds and ancestor to the monumental L., G. & S. + T. era.
Based on Reunion by John Cage, Lowell Cross and others. A sensor-modified chess board and six electronic musicians and chess enthusiasts, connected through the moves they play.
A new frontier. Ancient aliens, punk music, cheerleading and more. Amerika is a never-ending playground, combining music, performance, improvisation and general madness.
The classical period. Electronic, progressive and unpredictable, the music of L., G. & S. + T. would go on to shape the band’s output for more than a year.
